As Naples and Southwest Florida’s leading volunteer sailing club, we support inter-club racing, cruising, day sailing, social events, and boating education for the benefit of sailors and their families. Let’s keep it fun.

 
⛵ Join Us for the First Annual Commodore’s Cup! All boats are welcome — come race, cheer on, celebrate, and make history at Marco Island Yacht Club’s inaugural regatta weekend!

⚓ Regatta Overview Entry Fee: $85 per boat Registration & Scoring

Buffet Dinner ($35 per person, credit card bar) ---> Through Yacht Scoring

🗓 Weekend Schedule

📍Friday, November 21 5:00–7:00 PM – Welcome Party & Skippers Meeting

📍 Marco Island Yacht Club – The Burgee Bar (1400 N Collier Blvd)

• Complimentary hors d’oeuvres

• Cocktails available (credit card bar)

⛵ Saturday, November 22 – Race Day! Three one-mile Windward/Leeward races (final race finishes before 2:00 PM)

• Racing takes place right in front of the JW Marriott — perfect viewing for friends and spectators on shore or on the water!

🏆 Post-Race Celebration – 5:00–8:00 PM

📍 Marco Island Yacht Club – The Burgee Bar

• 5:00 PM – Cocktails & Social Hour

• 6:00 PM – Buffet Dinner ($35 per person, credit card bar)

• 7:00 PM – Awards Ceremony

👩‍✈️ Sunday, November 23 – Ladies Helm Distance Race Hosted by MIMA – a perfect way to round out an amazing weekend on the water.

Our Gulf Coast Sailing Club Strategy

· Be an innovative volunteer and non-profit organization of beginner, intermediate and experienced sailors.

· Provide year-round on-the-water and land-based activities for our members, their families, and their guests.

· Build a robust sailing program by interfacing with all southwest Florida sailing clubs and coordinating interclub activities.

· Build community outreach through supporting local boating programs and marine industries.

· Actively support sailing and seamanship education programs.
