Day Sailing Open Event -- CANCELED
About this event
GCSC Day Sailing · Naples
Day Sail on the Gulf
Day Sailing is the easiest way to get out on the water with the club. A skipper takes a few members out, we head to the Gulf, and everybody gets a few hours of sailing. You don't need to own a boat or have any experience, and if you've never been on a sailboat, this is the event to come to!
Boats out at 10:00
Free for members
No boat needed
No experience needed
Members: register here to crew
If you'd like to sail, register for this event. We match members with the skippers' boats and let everyone know who is sailing with whom before the day. If it's your first time out, say so when you register!
Skippers: email us
Skippers don't need to register. Please email daysailing@gulfcoastsailingclub.org and let us know you're coming and how many members you're able to host on your boat.
How it works
Members registerRegister for this event and make sure your profile is up to date, so we know a little about you when we match you up.
Skippers email usSkippers email daysailing@ with how many members they can take.
GCSC matchesOnce the registrations and the skippers' emails are in, we match members with the boats and let everyone know who is sailing with whom. If we don't have enough spots on the boats for everyone, members are placed in the order they registered on the website, so register early!
Go sailing!Boats head out to the Gulf around 10:00am and meet up with the other club boats. Sometimes we raft up in Champney Bay and sometimes we just cruise for a few hours and come back in.
